Rouxnette is a South African artist and interior decorator - a creative at heart who loves bringing beauty into everyday spaces. She’s also a wife and a mom to a little girl who inspires her to stay playful in her work.

Birds are her favourite subject to paint — there’s just something fun about the details. Through her realistic bird paintings, she focuses on capturing both how they look and the character they carry.

Alongside her paintings, she brings her eye for design into interiors and digital work, blending her art, graphic design background, and decorating experience to help others create spaces that feel warm and intentional.

For her, painting is a chance to slow down, enjoy the small details, and share that sense of wonder with others. Every bird becomes its own little story, and her happiest moments are when her art becomes part of someone’s home.
