Hi, I’m Rouxnette van Wyk, a South African artist, interior decorator and surface pattern designer with a passion for detail and a love for creating art that feels at home in beautiful spaces.

I’m best known for my detailed bird paintings, while also exploring the sculptural possibilities of fabric and texture. With my background in interior decorating, I’ve always been fascinated by the relationship between art and interiors—and how artwork can transform the feeling of a space.

I’m on an ongoing experimental journey to take my art beyond the canvas and onto everyday surfaces, creating designs for wallpaper, fabric and interiors.
